George W Burkley III is a Financial Literacy Specialist/Mortgage Broker/MLO as well as the owner and founder of American Mortgage & Financial Services and has personally originated over $450 Million dollars in mortgages for Michiana residents over the last 25 plus years. Our philosophy is to cut out all the middle people and have our clients deal directly with the decision-maker on all mortgage applications making the mortgage process easier and quicker. We have great technology to make the mortgage process simple and easy. We have found that our clients prefer to deal with a Financial Literacy Specialist/Mortgage Expert who can show them different options to find the mortgage that is most suitable for their needs and saves the most mortgage interest. We work directly for our clients and not the bank. In addition to our mortgage services, we offer other products like Home Insurance, Auto insurance, Life insurance as well as commercial insurance. George Burkley III has been the owner and Mortgage Loan Originator of American Mortgage & Financial Services since October 1, 1996. His duties and responsibilities include management, mortgage originations, and insurance planning for our clients as well as overseeing the daily operation of the company as well as providing Concierge service to our clients who depend on us for all their mortgage and insurance needs.
George is an expert in mortgage lending and has earned the Certified Residential Mortgage Specialist (CRMS) and the Certified Veterans Loans Specialist (CVLS) designations through the National Association of Mortgage Brokers.
George has been a part of the local business industry for over 35 years and started American Mortgage and Financial; Services, LLC in October of 1996. His goal is to improve the financial literacy of all his clients and friends and to help them get to financial independence.
